SHIPPING POLICY
We aim to keep things simple for as many customers as possible and generally offer free shipping on all products in the online store. There may be situations, for example unusual shipping addresses in non EU/UK region which require extra shipping fees to be paid. If this occurs we will contact you before shipping the item.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
1. Introduction
We understand that sometimes plans change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for canceling an order with Gordano Valley Metal Detecting. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Cancellation Requests
Timeframe for Cancellation:
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the item has not yet been shipped or customized. In the case of services such as experience days orders can be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase with a full refund, unless the date of the experience day is within 3 weeks of the cancellation in which case 50% of the original ticket price will be refunded. If in doubt please contact us and we'll discuss the best solution for you.
For custom or personalized items, cancellations may only be accepted before production has started. Once production begins, cancellations are not guaranteed.
How to Cancel:
Contact us via the lets chat window at the bottom of the page or use the contact us section of the website. Please include your order number and reason for cancellation.
3. Refunds
For Eligible Cancellations:
Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made within the allowed timeframe.
Refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
Non-Refundable Items:
Custom or personalized items that have already entered production.
Items marked as "final sale" or "non-refundable" in the product description.
4. Legal Rights (UK/EU Customers)
If you are a customer in the UK or EU, you are entitled to additional rights under consumer protection laws:
Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period):
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason, and receive a refund. This excludes custom or personalized items.
To exercise this right, you must notify us via the lets chat window or the contact us section of the website within the 14-day period. You must also return the item in its original condition.
Refunds will include the original shipping costs (standard delivery rates only). You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
5. Exceptions to Cancellation
We reserve the right to decline cancellation requests in the following circumstances:
The item has already shipped.
The item is custom or personalized and production has started.
The item is digital or downloadable content that has already been accessed.
The experience day is occuring within 3 weeks of the date of cancellation.
6. Shipping and Returns After Cancellation
If the Item Has Already Shipped:
You may return the item once received. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Conditions for Returns:
Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging.
We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the item is returned in a non-resalable condition.
